The most beautiful lobster boats
are built on Beal's Island, Maine. This one is caught in a storm off that island.
For years I have tried to get someone to record the lines of these boats.....A
thought which generated an article in Woodenboat Magazine. However, so far no
one has done this. The boats are built without plans. I have done my own plans
from these boats dry-docked. From these, I am building models to pose for my
paintings.
